Cyclones and Thunderstorms
1. Tropical Cyclones
Tropical Cyclones normally occur during the
months of May to November and are particularly prevalent during September.
When tropical cyclones affect Hong Kong , the
following general arrangements will apply and appropriate public
announcements will be made:

the start of AM, whole- day or PM schools

3. Closure of Schools in individual Districts
In exceptional
circumstances, the Director of education of Education may announce the
closure of schools in only one or just a few districts. Student living in
such district should not go to school even if their schools are located
elsewhere. Parents should be clear that the district in which our schools
are at is WANCHAI DISTRICT.
